Hello, my name is Janet Webster MY VITALS--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  Occupation: I'm an Educational psychologist (also a teacher) who consults with international schools especially in Asia. Home town: Whitehorse Location: Yukon Territory, Canada -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MORE ABOUT ME... I started this wiki because teachers in my workshops on ASD are always asking me for the names of resources. I wanted a quick way for teachers to access information and for others in the field to offer their contributions. I heard about wikis in November 2008. I was giving workshops for the EARCOS administrators' conference in Kota Kinabalu in Sabah, Malaysia (Borneo). When my sessions were over, I was free to attend others. I dropped in on a techy session given by Jeff Utecht (International School of Bangkok) and heard about wikis. I wanted to start this immediately but was too busy in Manila working with International School of Manila, the British School Manila and Brent International School. Not to mention also teaching a course in Special Education as part of the SUNY masters' program for ISM teachers and consulting with the Canadian Academy in Kobe and giving presentations at the EARCOS teachers' conference again in Borneo. Phew!! I'm glad to be back in the Yukon (for a rest?).
